SUMMER VACATION PRAYER

No more homework, no more tests.

No more getting up for school.

My summer vacation begins today!

I'm so happy and I'm so free.

I want to read and get up late.

I want to ride my bike and swim.

I want to play more with my friends.

Please bless my summer days, dear God.

Keep me safe and happy.

SERVERS, LECTORS AND EMHCs

Servers, Lectors, and EMHCs in the kitchenette at the back of church are sign in sheets for your ministry.  When you are to serve in a ministry for the liturgy please sign in before mass on that day.  This will help Father to know that the ministry position is filled for the liturgy of that day.

COMMUNION TO THE HOMEBOUND

If you plan to take communion to  someone after Mass, please fill your pyx with the correct number of unconsecrated hosts you will need before Mass.  You will find the wafers in the sacristy.  Then place your pyx with the unconsecrated host (s) on the credence table.  Do not put your pyx on the alter before Mass.  The pyx will be taken to the altar by the altar servers at the same time they take the other vessels to the altar in preparing for Eucharist and the consecration of the bread and wine.  After communion Father will call you forward to retrieve your pyx with the Body of Christ and for dismissal.  If he does not do the dismissal for ministers of the homebound, be sure to retrieve your pyx directly after Mass.
